With an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Montessori Certification for ages 3 to 6, I bring both professional expertise and a passion for fostering curiosity, independence, and growth during the most important developmental years. Our program integrates the Montessori philosophy with a playful, hands-on approach, allowing each child to learn at their own pace while building confidence and creativity.

Our Services
Full-Time Childcare
$200 weekly
Our full-time childcare schedule from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, balances structured learning, play, and rest. The day begins with a warm welcome and free play to help children settle in, followed by activities and hands-on learning tailored to their developmental stages. Midday includes a healthy snack and outdoor or gross motor play, followed by group Storytime. Lunch and snack are provided by the school, ensuring children receive nutritious meals throughout the day. After lunch, children enjoy a quiet nap or relaxation period before engaging in creative arts, music, or sensory exploration to round out the day. We are currently enrolling children 18 months and older.

Welcome to Bumblebee Academy! My name is Amanda H. , and I am so excited to share my love for early childhood education with your little ones. I have always been passionate about nurturing young minds, which led me to spend four wonderful years as a preschool Montessori teacher. During that time, I worked with children from 6 months to 6 years old, tailoring learning experiences to their developmental stages and individual needs.
In addition to my teaching experience, I have many years of babysitting for family, friends, and parents of the children I taught, giving me a well-rounded perspective on childcare in various settings. I hold an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and two Montessori certifications specializing in birth to 6 years. These qualifications, combined with my hands-on experience, have shaped my approach to creating a warm, engaging, and educational environment for children.
As a mom and wife, family is at the heart of everything I do. Being a parent myself has deepened my understanding of the love, trust, and commitment parents place in caregivers. In my free time, I enjoy painting, exploring all kinds of crafts, and spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, gardening, or simply soaking up nature.

Pets in Our Home Policy
At Bumblebee Academy, we want to share that our home includes pets as part of our family. While they will not have contact with the children during daycare hours, they may access common areas after our operating hours.
To ensure a clean and safe environment for your children, we:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize all shared spaces daily.
Keep all pet items (toys, beds, food bowls, etc.) separate from daycare areas.
Maintain regular grooming and vet check-ups for our pets to uphold hygiene.
